Bringing the Fun to Our Community
Throughout the year, our VSA team orchestrates a variety of events that bring joy to children, families, and the wider village community. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the fantastic activities we have in store or that have taken place so far:
- Easter Fair: Hop into spring with our delightful Easter Fair! From egg hunts, crafts to games and delicious treats, there’s something for everyone. It’s a perfect way for families to celebrate the season together.
- Bees Bash: The highlight of our summer is undoubtedly the St Bees Bash. Picture a sun-drenched day filled with traditional games, stalls, live music, raffle, food and drink. It’s a festival of fun that brings the whole community together.
- Scarecrow Trail: Get creative with our annual Scarecrow Trail, where families and local groups from across St Bees design and display scarecrows around the village. It’s a quirky and entertaining way to showcase our community’s imagination and spirit. Plus, it’s a great outdoor adventure for kids and adults alike!
Why We Do It
Every event organized by our VSA volunteers is more than just a good time – it’s a step towards enriching our children’s educational experience. The funds raised go directly towards improving school facilities, currently the playground equipment. We believe that play is a crucial part of learning, and with your support, we can create an amazing space where our kids can explore, exercise and enjoy their time at school.
