SEND Provision

St Bees Village School is an inclusive school and we value each and every child.  Supporting all children to enable them to achieve their very best potential, whilst ensuring their happiness and wellbeing, is of utmost importance to us.  Additional help may need to be provided in school either by staff or through liaison with external specialists, in order to support them in their learning and meet their individual needs.

Mrs Claire O’Reilly is our SENDCo and can be contacted at coreilly@stbeesvillage.cumbria.sch.uk  She leads a team of support staff, ranging in experience from Teaching Assistants (TAs) to Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs). We also have support staff trained in specific programmes such as ELSA and Drawing and Talking therapy. Our SENDCo also works closely with class teachers who support pupils with SEND on a day to day basis in their classrooms.
